How To Get Your Ex Back (6 Steps)

Hey Everyone, this is Lindsay from BePrimo and today we’re going to talk about the 6 steps you need to follow if you want to get your ex back. You also can’t force someone to love you. There are definitely methods to use to re-establish a connection with your ex and build back trust between each other, but there’s no magic potion to make them instantly fall back in love with you. It’s going to take work and an honest effort. 1. Take a few days for yourself. First, I really suggest that you don’t communicate with your ex at all during the initial stages of the break up and don’t make any big life decisions when you’re in such an emotional state. The next couple of days are for you to calm down from the drama of the breakup, gather yourself, and even reflect on whether or not you really want your ex back. 2. Limit your contact with your ex. In addition to giving yourself some space, the last thing you want to do is flood your ex with texts, calls, and other messages. If you do, you’re going to look needy and maybe even obsessive and push them away further. You shouldn’t talk to your ex at all for at least 3 - 4 weeks, even if they reach out to you. 3. “End” things on a neutral or even positive note. We tend to view our relationships through rose colored glasses shortly after they end, so you can make that image even rosier if you leave a positive impression right before your no contact period. 4. When you do start talking to each other again, reach out sparingly. You don’t want to bombard them with a wave of text messages and calls once your “no contact” period is over. Slowly you can start building up a rapport with them and grow back that attraction you used to have for each other. But remember, you want to keep things light and drama-free, that way every time they think about you, they’ll think of only the positive things.
